SPACE AGE

Space Age o Era Espacial no es sólo un estilo de decoración, sino el nombre que se dió al periodo en el cual se puso en marcha la carrera y la tecnología espacial. Se considera que esta época nació en 1957 cuando se produjo el lanzamiento del cohete ruso Sputnik. En aquel tiempo supuso toda una revolución, influyendo desde la música, el diseño o la moda, hasta, como no, la decoración. 

Se desarrolló un estilo de decoración futurista, donde imperaban las formas geométricas y sobretodo las curvas, el color blanco combinado con naranja, rojo o negro, y por supuesto, el brillo en forma de vinilo, plástico o metal... teniendo cabida todo lo que emulara una nave espacial. / Space Age is not just a style of decoration, but the name that was given to the period in which it launched the career and space technology.
